Julien should relax, cash his Bruins checks for the rest of the year and wait for something better than the Panthers to come calling.

Why wait until after the season, when you can save THIS season?

Barkov and Huberdeau are back, they are not a bad team, lots of great young players.

No they're renting him a 1996 Toyota Camry for the week. He just has to fill it up when he returns it.

What do you mean by "Fantasy Hockey"? I could see not hiring a strong, older, coach if you wanted to go with a more metrics driven coach, but that's not what you meant.

Seems so stupid that a team fires a coach but the rest of the league still has to ask Boston for permission to hire him, seems very odd to me.

You would think the firing would rend the contract null and void.

Nah... makes sense...
He has all the knowledge of injured players, any systems in place, any weakness with the team. Say a team like MTL hires him as an assisstant for the remainder of the season simply to know how to beat a rival better.

would be shocked to see any reputable coach take the FLA job after the way they treated Gallant. they may be black balled for a little bit. just embarrassing on their part.

You're worried about the BRUINS?!!!

You need a center, really anything that resembles a center and you're worried about the (frank)ing Bruins...

Why wouldn’t the bruins give Julien permission to help out a rival?

This is so stupid. The Bruins should lose any right over Julien's contract after firing him. No team should have to ask permission for a guy to find a new job...

Which doesnt change anything. If I get fired my company pays severence but I dont need their permission to get hired elsewhere.
